I'm not sure I understand this program 100%. What I want to be able to do is type out text and then save the generated speech as a wav file or such. I don't want the video with the avatar speaking, I just want the speech. Does this program allow that?

You will need to speak to our sales team about our TTS product with mp3 Export. This feature is not included in the SitePal product, but is available in our enterprise product list.
